What a crazy week it's been, finally out of the MTC and Into the field. It was sad saying goodbye to all my friends. This 1st week in the field has been crazy. I am in Texas! My companion/trainer is Sister Simmons, shes been out for 8 months and this is her second area. Shes a sweetheart, also from Utah.
We cover 2 wards, WE ARE WHITE WASHING and it's hard work. We both have no idea what's really going on, the area book is kinda a mess. There's so many people with an interest In the gospel, So we have a ton of work to do here!! We have spent all our days going around meeting people and talking to people, trying to clean up the area book. Its exhausting. But I'm enjoying the work! The members are so nice here, and are super missionary oriented, which helps a ton!
I'm so busy, always doing something so I don't have time to write much. And my trainer is anti- messaging so sorry if I don't write you back.
I love and miss you all! I'm doing well ♡
I'll leave you with a spiritual thought
In alma 5, alma is asking the people of Zarahemela a number of questions for them to ponder. Ask yourself these same questions and see how you can improve
14 have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?
15 Do ye exercise faith in the redemption of him who created you? Do you look forward with an eye of faith
16 can you imagine to yourselves that ye hear the voice of the Lord, saying unto you, in that day: Come unto me ye blessed, for behold, your works have been the works of righteousness upon the face of the earth?
27 Have ye walked, keeping yourselves blameless before God? Could ye say, if ye were called to die at this time, within yourselves, that ye have been sufficiently humble? That your garments have been cleansed and made white through the blood of Christ, who will come to redeem his people from their sins?
Strive to confidently answer yes to these. To be able to when the day comes, stand clean before the Lord, and receive his promised blessings upon high!
