To my dear friends mourning the loss of Zibby

Dear friends, I know that we are all grieving at the loss of our sweet Zibby. It's devastating and has brought heartache, sadness, even frustration or confusion upon us all. Being away for this is not easy, but I feel like I am for a reason, and I hope I can bring light, peace, and hope into your life as I share what has helped me.
Being at the MTC I have been surrounded by the spirit of Christ, He walks the halls here. I have learned much about faith, prayer, and Christ's atonement.
I'm so grateful to have this gospel in my life to know that Zibby is not gone, she is safe and with our Heavenly Father. She is happy, not in pain anymore, and I know she was welcomed home with opened arms of our Savior. She is the person we all remember her as; happy, and bringing joy to all she meets.
Zibby was a blessing in my life and I'm certain that she was too many or all of yours. I believe that on the other side of the Vail she will continue blessing the life's of others bringing them happiness and turning others unto Christ.
I love Zibby so much, she could always bring a smile to my face. What a beautiful daughter of God she is.
Because of the atonement, I know that we may see zibby again. Pain is only temporary, this is only a physical death.

Alma 11:42 Now, there is a death which is called a temporal death; and the death of Christ shall loose the bands of this temporal death, that all shall be raised from this temporal death.

Life is eternal. Zibby lived a wonderful life and is now home in heaven with our beloved Savior and Father and is happy.

Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken

Mosiah 16:8 But there is a resurrection, therefore the grave hath no victory, and the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ.

Alma 11:45 I say unto you that this mortal body is raised to an immortal body, that is from death, even from the first death unto life, that they can die no more; their spirits uniting with their bodies, never to be divided; thus the whole becoming spiritual and immortal, that they can no more see corruption.

I found comfort through Christ. Turn to him, talk to him about how you're feeling. Pray to know that she is ok. Search the scriptures to find peace.
The Sadness may not go away immediately, but through Christ, it can bring peace and sadness will be replaced with joy! I know that she is watching over us.
I've been blessed to be at the MTC to feel Heavenly Fathers love and constantly be surrounded by the spirit. I've been able to have my heart changed and to become even more converted in Christ.
Cleave to the doctrine of Christ. Let it bring you peace. God is our rock. Christ lived and died to redeem and to save us. And because of this we will see zibby again.

"With God, comfort replaces pain, peace replaces turmoil, and hope replaces sorrow. Remaining firm in the faith of Christ will bring His sustaining grace and support."
God will convert this trial into a blessing.
I love you all and have you all in my thoughts and prayers today! ♡

With Love;
Sister Jordana McMahon
