This first week in my Arizona transfer (home MTC) has been very busy and very rewarding. I have never been so exhausted and happy at the same time. My district is comprised of 12 missionaries (6 Elders and 6 Hermanas), the majority of them are called to Argentina, but the one other missionary going to Guatemala is my companion! My companion Hermana Hatfield is absolutely the best! We are very similar so our companion/language studies often end with us laughing. She took two years of Spanish in High School so she is very patiently helping me learn the grammar. On Thursday I got back into class after lunch to hear that most of my district (including my companion) had been reassigned. It came as no surprise when an hour later my Stake President called. I have been reassigned to San Diego California! I am so happy about this reassignment, I know this is where the Lord needs me to go. I am also excited because I can wear my summer dresses and not freeze!
My testimony has grown so much in this past week, I have most definitely grown closer to my Savior as I focus on His work. I am so excited (emocionada) to be a part of this great work. I know that the coming year is going to be challenging, but I am happy and ready to move forward with faith.
