Hermana Ralston

I'm going home on December 15...WOW that's literally 3 days from now!!! Surprise the time has come, and it has been a wonderful, filled mission with tons of Joy. Joy in my Savior Jesus Christ who has changed me this past year and couple months. I'm not perfect but I want to say I'm thankful for everything I have learned and felt here. I left my heart here and a little bit of blood sometimes ahah . I'm thankful for everyone who has supported me while on my mission and all the letters/voice mails/emails I have received!! I felt Christ along my side this whole journey and I have gained a testimony of his loving grace.

He has held me up when I felt like giving up sometimes but nonetheless, he was my strongest support and I learned how to put him 1st in my life. Words cannot describe the feeling of knowing my Savior more to know the character of myself that I am a child of God, and he is my loving heavenly Father. I'm so happy that I got to share my personal witness and testimony that Jesus is the Christ and through him we can be saved from ourselves when we make mistakes or feel inadequate. I know that Families can grow stronger when they trust in the lord to strength their faith and act. I know that as we strive to live like Jesus Christ every day and grow more in his attributes, we will gain more blessings in our lives. As well as living our baptismal and temple covenants can give us more spiritual power that we need in this life and the life to come (eternal life).

I know I was sent to California Sacramento mission because the Lord called me here to change or affect someone's life and to use my talents to bless them. I will treasure all the amazing memories I've had with the friends we are teaching, along with members, and companions. They are my brothers and sisters and I know that God had a plan for them. It tears my heart that I won't see them for a while, but I know God has a plan for me and my journey and he is going to help me on my adventure to know him more continually throughout my life. Goodbye is not the end and I'm happy to say that.

I know I will continue to bless others' lives through the gift that God gave me with my Spanish and I'm in ever indebted for him to help others through it. Even if it's a brief testimony. I was never really fluent, but he helped me teach others about Christ in another language!!! How crazy?!?!?!

I want to leave you all with a scripture that I read today that explains how I feel: It's found in Alma 26: 15-16 ........ I would also encourage you to read verses 27 & 35-37 in this chapter.

"15 Yea, they were encircled about with everlasting darkness and destruction; but behold, he has brought them into his everlasting light, yea, into everlasting salvation; and they are encircled about with the matchless bounty of his love; yea, and we have been instruments in his hands of doing this great and marvelous work.

16 Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his mercy, and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel."
