(May the 4th be with you;P)
I hit my 9 month mark, which means I'm halfway into my mission....say what?! I had a wonderful camel hat (thanks to Sister Webber) to wear in honor of my Hump Day and the very talented Sister Münch made me a cake. What more could I ask for???
We had training meetings every morning this week for all the new missionaries and it was so weird going through that process again because it took me back to the beginning of my mission. It was really awesome to have that extra boost of spiritual upliftment from President and Sister Leimer though and to get focused on the basics that sometimes get forgotten. We also got Sister Münch's training binder this week and guess who was on the cover? That's right your girl. So basically I'm up with the big leagues now. Don't worry though I'll still remember you all when my picture gets posted on churchofjesuschrist.org!
This week also consisted of a lot of morning/afternoon walks, making a Jesus wall, recieving another load of food storage from members, feeding the ducks, seeing how much Sister Münch could eat, a lot of dance parties and of course lessons on lessons! I hope you all know how much I love being a missionary!! Going on a mission has seriously been the best decision I've ever made and I'm so excited for the next 9 months to keep doing what I LOVE. I know that the gathering of Israel is the most important work that can we can take part in today! President Nelson has challenged us to participate in it, so let's do it! Seeing people come closer to Christ is one of the most rewarding feelings and in the process I have strengthened my own relationship with Him. I'm so happy I can say that I know my Savior. I know He lives! I know He's helping His work go forward to gather His flock! He is the Good Shepherd and He will seek out the lost to bring them back in His arms. Let's help Him to accomplish this:)
