Hallo hallo hallo!!!
Alright people, this is gonna be a quick update on this week! We basically had conferences for the whole week, so not a ton to tell. First, on Tuesday we got stood up for an appointment so we stood in the rain for an hour #blessed We got to go to Berlin on Wednesday for a mission conference with Elder Kopischke who is an Area Seventy, so ayooo!! That night we got to stay with the Potsdam sisters and then Thursday we got to have MLC in Berlin!! So this week I got to see a lot of missionaries which is always so much fun! Friday, Sister Esplin was sick:( so we stayed inside all day, but the next day, being the strong woman she is, she got out of bed and we went to some lessons! That night we got to help the new senior couple, the Nielson's, get settled in! They are so awesome I'm excited to work with them! Sunday we went to church (obvi) and later that day we had another conference over a zoom call for another MLC. So a bunch of meetings, but super uplifting!
This week family on both sides of the veil was really emphasized. I've never thought about how important family history is, but I read a talk and President Nelson said that when we do family history we are helping exalt our families! How cool is that?! I know that we have family on the other side of the veil looking out for us and doing their own work. Something that Sister Leimer said was, "Angel's on the other side record our testimonies and use it in their own work." So bear your testimonies as often as you can, help those here and on the other side! I know that families are SO important and we are part of God's family. We are HIS children. Do family history and help exalt your family!
