This week has flown by it's so crazy! I got to start the week off by going back to Berlin on Tuesday for MLC (because my companions are the STLs) which is where all the zone leaders and STLs meet with President Leimer/Sister Leimer for training. During the meeting we were doing role plays, so of course my companions and I got called on to go in front of everyone to do that. My companions were giving the lesson and then I hear "Now Sister Mooring will give her testimony of Jesus Christ". I actually said out loud "you're kidding me" HAHA oh man. So there I was a little one week old missionary trying to give my testimony auf Deutsch in front of all the experienced missionaries AND President/Sister Leimer. Man it was rough but I did it! So I sit back down happy that it was over, but then President Leimer says "We will now hear testimonies from Elder something, and Sister Mooring..." Perks of being the companion of the STLs am I right?? Pretty sure I started crying on the inside. God was testing me with a grin on His face that's for sure, but He also helped me through the role play and my testimony. When we were traveling home with the Elders, they gave us money to get them a snack...sooo we bought them 25 € worth of chocolate heheh #worthit
The rest of the week was full of lessons, studying and missionary work! Oh meine gute, how awesome is the power of God! We were finding on the street this week and as we were walking I spotted this girl coming towards us but she had headphones in so I wasn't going to stop her until I had this feeling that I should. So I was able to stop her, tell her we are missionaries and asked her if she believed in God. Turns out she had just lost someone close to her so she was angry with God, but as my companions started explaining why God lets us go through hard things in our lives and how we can be with our loved ones again, you could see her heart softening. It was such a cool experience. This week we also taught Moody and Nasti. They both were able to pray at the end of the lessons and the Spirit is always so strong when children of God pray to their Father in Heaven to find the truth for themselves. So cool! Today, we got to go shopping with Andrea to find a dress because she is getting baptized this Saturday!! Yay, she is so cute!! We found some high class shawls but they were out of my missionary budget sadly. We also got to stop by the church that Bach is buried in, it was d-o-p-e!!
This week I learned that Heavenly Father is so real. He is there every step of the way in our journey. HE LOVES US SO MUCH THAT HE SENT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON. I am so grateful I have the knowledge that I am loved beyond my comprehension and that I never have to do anything on my own. Don't forget to speak to your Heavenly Father because He is so eager to hear your voice!
