This week was crazy awesome insane hectic and wonderful!!
We basically traveled the entire mission saying goodbye to all of my amazing friends, as I'm sure you can tell by the pictures. I don't even know how to start there is so much to say. I think my favorite part of this week has been taking a "step back in time" to visit so many people I loved and served all the way back to the beginning of my mission. I can't describe the joy I felt being able to see so many people I dearly love and witnessing their journeys and progression. It was like Heavenly Father took my hand this week and said, "Come with me. I want to show you the difference you've made and the people you have touched." I've felt so overwhelmingly blessed. Heavenly Father loves His children so very, very much.
I don't really have a lot to say other than that, but I wanted to take this opportunity to leave my testimony one more time as next week will be my last missionary email.
I know my Heavenly Father lives and loves me. He loves every single one of us totally individually. He knows you, He knows your imperfections, and He loves you.I know my Savior lives. Jesus Christ is our brother, and He took upon Himself the pains of the world so that you and I would never have to. He knows our heartaches, He feels our wounds, and He understands perfectly our weaknesses. But He loves us. He can and will lift us up, strengthen us, bind our wounds, teach us gently, and carry us home. If we will follow Him, He will make of us someone we have never dreamed of. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. I know Him. I love Him. And He will take your burdens if you will let Him.I know that the Book of Mormon is the very word of God, that it is a second witness of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was and is a prophet, and that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet today guiding Christ's church on the earth. I know that we can find happiness, peace, and love like we've never felt before if we will only reach out to our Heavenly Father and come to Him. I know that wickedness never was happiness, and keeping the commandments of God is the only path to real happiness. No matter what, no matter who we are, no matter the world around us, Heavenly Father loves us. His arms are stretched out still in love and invitation. He is my best friend.
Thank you so sincerely for each and every prayer, for supporting me through this journey, for listening to my rambling in these emails the last 18 months. I love y'all more than you know and I truly feel the love that is sent my way each and every day. See you in Nashville - 10 days!
Love,
