This week was super up and down. Tuesday morning we had a lesson with a new investigator, Brittany, who is 22. Unfortunately that means we'll be passing her off to the YSA ward, but she was so much fun to meet with! We had lunch with her and taught her a brief Restoration lesson. We are so excited for her to meet with the YSA ward!
We also met with a guy named Brendan this week who is mid-twenties as well. He had some AWESOME questions about the Restoration and we are hoping to meet with him again soon.
Tuesday and Wednesday were a little rough as I got a bad cold and we had to stay home a lot, but I'm back on my feet and we're flying high!!
This morning we met with Louie and taught him the Plan of Salvation. It was so wonderful!! He has insightful questions and really loves the Spirit he feels when we talk. He has read 17 chapters of the Book of Mormon and loves every verse :D He is so funny he told us he might write a rap song about Nephi haha.
Bishop Flora has been awesome about helping us find the right fellowshippers and checking up with us about our investigators. I really respect Bishop Flora a lot. He is so involved and encouraging, and he really gets things done!
Anyway, Louie promised to keep reading and praying this week, and he wants to come to church on Sunday. He doesn't know if he can with his schedule right now, but even if he can't come to the regular church meetings we are going to give him a church tour. Louie is so much fun! He really caught on to every principle we taught him today about the Plan of Salvation... it all makes sense and really, it's all about love.
I can't wait to tell you more about him next week.
Love y'all!!
