So this was a great week! We have had potential investigators seemingly dropping out of the sky... haha it's kinda funny. We got a referral from a member in another ward and we are meeting up with a girl named Brittany tomorrow :) Then a member brought her mom who is visiting from FL to church yesterday and she sat with us in sunday school and relief society and loved it. Her name is Sis Pettit and we're going to go see her in a few days, too! (she's not a member)
I think the most exciting part of our week will be going to teach Louie the Plan of Salvation tonight. Both Bishop Flora and another member are coming with us, and Louie has been trying to read the Book of Mormon every day this week! We can't wait to visit him again.
One of my favorite visits this week was with Sis Holliday (isn't that a cheerful name? her dog is named molly mae holliday, and she used to have a dog billy holliday haha). She took us in her minivan to get drinks and she got food because she hadn't eaten, then we helped her clean out her porch and talked about the importance of reading the Book of Mormon every day. She said she hadn't really thought about doing that in years, and she promised to try this week. We know it will help her feel the Spirit in her home! The Book of Mormon brings such joy!!
Speaking of which, I am still trying to finish the Book of Mormon by this Friday. I am a little behind so I know what I'll be doing today ;) But I have absolutely found sooooo much happiness just by reading it faster than normal I have noticed so many details and differences I never realized before. I can promise that you will learn something new every time, no matter how many times you have read it before, if you simply invite the Spirit through prayer and then read even just a little each day. It WILL change your whole life!I know it's short but that's all I have time for right now!! I love you!
