I don't have a lot of time this week, so it's gonna be a little short today... Sorry!!
Two quick highlights this week:We were out trying to visit a potential on Sunday, but as soon as we got out of the car a little girl on a scooter came up to us and said hello. So we stopped and talked to her :) She was so sweet. Her name was Katelyn and she was 8 years old. She asked why we were going to knock on her neighbor's house, so we explained that we were missionaries and taught people about Jesus Christ. She exclaimed, "I LOVE Jesus!!" :) We asked her if her parents taught her about God, or if she went to church. She said, "My mom taught me a little... but I just know." It made our day. We are going to go try to visit her family. Kids are incredible. Such simple faith. She just knew.
Friday night we ate dinner at the Mauss's ranch, where we got to play with their baby kittens!! They are only a month old, and not too used to being played with yet. The one I picked up was named Beth, and she was shaking in her boots, poor thing. But I convinced her I was not so scary and she started playing with me after a bit :) It just made us so happy to have a few minutes with such precious little kittens.
Other than that, we just keep on keepin' on. I LOVED womens' conference this week, especially Sis Oscarson's talk! If you haven't watched it, go do it! My favorite part of Sis Oscarson's talk was when she told us, "you are not onlookers only - you are a part of this work!" I know that one person with faith and action CAN make a difference. Even small steps of faith bring miracles. We are all a part of God's kingdom moving forward and growing, and every little bit counts. Every minute spent in prayer, every prompting followed, every act of service given, every testimony shared... these are the things that brick by brick build the wonderful and glorious walls of the kingdom of God. YOU make a difference... every day!
I love y'all so much. Thank you for your prayers and letters... I so appreciate every one. Make it an incredible week, as always!
