Ok. So this week had sooo many ups and downs. I don't want to go into detail, but I'd love all of your prayers, and I'm having a rough time right now. I'm dealing with a lot of health challenges with my stomach and some depression/anxiety right now, and like I said I won't go into much detail but I'd love your prayers. I'm ok, and I'm going to get better :)
Transfers this week! I am staying another transfer in Laguna Beach to make it another nice round 6 months and Sister Rolfson is staying with me! :) But the exciting part is that Sister Bauer is coming to a ward in our zone and I will get to see her at zone activities! Yay :)
I really don't have time to write much this week, but I had a great night last night! We went to the temple music devotional and I got to see Paul. He is doing great, still being taught by Sister Bauer, and always smiling and happy now. He has leveled out a bit and cooled his temper haha. I also got to see Sister Thatcher and McCall Andrizzi several times this week - two of my other friends from Newport Hills. I just kept running into them :)
Last night we had a super fun lesson with the "A" family! They asked a lot of questions about the Plan of Salvation recently, so we did a review and we had Casten put all the pieces together like a puzzle while we talked through the plan from start to finish. It was so fun seeing them all contribute and help each other, and Sam definitely knew his stuff lol. Then we talked more about the temple, and we will get to bring them to the temple to do baptisms for the dead this Thursday!! We are so excited! :D The best part was when they all decided that since last time we taught them how to have Family Home Evening, they wanted to take a turn teaching us next time! :) So this Saturday they are going to make us sit on the other side of the room to make it official and they will teach us the lesson :) haha it will be so fun! They are also working on a challenge we gave them. We gave them a calendar and told them to mark the day each time they had family scripture study and when they got to 15 days Sam and I would have our much-anticipated egg cookoff lol. We've been joking about it since one day when we started arguing playfully about who could make a better omelette, so I guess we'll find out! ;)
Instead of a scripture this week, I wanted to share the lyrics of one of my favorite songs:
https://www.lds.org/music/library/childrens-songbook/i-am-a-child-of-god?lang=eng
I am a child of God,
And he has sent me here,
Has given me an earthly home
With parents kind and dear.
Lead me, guide me,
walk beside me,
Help me find the way.
Teach me all that I must do
To live with him someday.
I love y'all. Keep on swimming! :DSister Bambas
