Sister Porio

This week has been the best of the transfer yet. Sister Porio and I had a really good exchanges. She is such a good missionary. And so humble. She asked me a lot of questions about obedience and really just wanted to learn and understand how to improve. The lessons were also really spiritually uplifting. We taught a first lesson with a sister named Robeline. As the lesson progressed, she told us that she recently lost a baby and it has been a tremendous trial. We testified of the hope of Jesus Christ and his gospel as well as eternal families. This is my favorite part of missionary work, offering a sense of healing people have never experienced before through Jesus Christ.

We had a really good lesson with Sister Margaret. She is the mother of the stake relief society president, Sister Isip. Margaret also has another daughter who is a member in America. Margaret is in her 70's or 80's but is so humble and willing to learn. Best of all she attended church on Sunday!

Church was really good. I had the opportunity to give a talk on missionary work. I focused on how the members can get involved and shared experiences from my mission about how the work has gone the best when the members were involved. Sister Margaret loved the talk which I find funny cause it was definitely directed at members.
