Another Transfer Comes, Another Transfer Goes
Transfer day tomorrow! Lucky for me, I'm staying put here in Bangued! This place is seriously the best.
Fast Sunday was really good yesterday. People just get coming up and bearing their testimonies about how different they were before they knew of the restored gospel and how much they changed for the better because of it. They were essentially saying they were grateful for repentance. I am so blessed to be surrounded by so many people that have a desire to change and act on it. They are such great examples to what kind of person I want to be.
We had an interesting experience teaching the Word of Wisdom yesterday. Brother Edsel and Sister Nene continue to progress and we have also been teaching their boarders, one of which is Brother Nono. We were so excited to see him at church yesterday, it was his first time to come. He is someone else who has expressed a desire to change, but has a hard time seeing potential in himself. As we taught the three of them last night, accompanied by some members, we realized after the lesson had started Nono was totally drunk. It was both funny and frustrating. I mean I have taught drunk accidentally people before, I have taught the Word of Wisdom before, but I have never done it at the same time. First time for everything!
