THE HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS
I got a lot of gifts from missionaries, investigators, members and God this year.
First the gifts from God:
I love Lingsat so much! I don't know what I did in my life to qualify for a blessing this big. Or maybe the Lord just felt like being merciful to me. Whatever the reason, I praise His name! The investigators and members here are so amazing. Loreta Vergara is outstanding! When we smile at each other everything is right in the world. I forget the trials of missionary work. It all becomes worth it because I get to be apart of her conversion to Jesus Christ. Like seriously, everything that I have ever considered hard up to this point is meaningless in comparison to this daughter of God. Her faith is so strong. When she said the closing prayer yesterday she started crying it was so sweet. She has been looking for truth, for God, her whole life and she has finally found it. We started teaching Lynn, the daughter of one of our recent converts, Nora. We invited her to enter into the waters of baptism if she came to feel the church was true. She then told us she already feels it's true. Even though we'd only specifically started teaching her this week she told us every time we enter into her home to teach her mother she feels the truthfulness of the gospel.
