Long time no see
Hello everyone, how are we doing today!? Sorry it's been 3 weeks since I've sent an email, it's been kind of crazy!! My last week in the MTC was definitely memorable... My comp and I ran through a construction sight in our Pj's at 3 AM to help some departing missionaries, listened to stories written by Elder Cardoza with Elder Larsen's assistance, and had Chick-fil-a for our last meal there!
As for my first 2 weeks in the field, HOLY COW!!! I'm serving in Calgary East (suburb city) Seriously... there are houses as far as the eye can see in every direction! My district is the BOMB and so is my companion! Her name is sister Williams and she is from Idaho too! There is a lot that happened so I'll just share the highlights!
- I had my first baptism on Saturday!!! Their names are Peace and Onome, they are the coolest! At their baptism I had the opportunity to sing a song with Peace!
- "Dang it Maredith, where are your panties!?" -Kelly from the Office (Casual Friday)
My second time tracting a lady answered the door not wearing pants or panties, just a t-shirt. Fun, really fun... tracting is always an adventure!
- My comp has a Nerf shotgun so sometimes we make a target and have a competition to see who is the better shot... it's me by the way!
