Sis J. Just checking in from the missionary bee hive!
I know y'all are busy people so I'll keep it short and sweet! (Hopefully)
I am getting so good @ basketball!!!! I hardly miss the basket anymore! They call all us basketball kids the Pool Boys, because went we shoot a basket it makes a "splash"! Our mascot is Shamoo the whale. Also, I learned how to spin a ball on my finger! So basically I'm Troy Bolton!!! Thats right kids, i got my head in the game!! Two of the Elders in my district have him as their background picture on their phones. So that's cool! Oh and those same Elders keep spamming my email with the song Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley, good times!
I gave 2 of the Elders the kiss of death this week... I told them one time during basketball, "I sure love you guys, you're both like my brothers!" I really wish I could have captured their faces. One of them just kept saying "I can't believe it.... I got the kiss of death!" All the sisters and I laughed so hard. Now we all call them the cutest brothers.
I can't believe I leave on Wednesday!!! Most of my district leaves on Monday, so for 3 days it will just be my companion Sister Benedicto and I, and then Elder Beecroft and Weaver. SOOO SAD!!! I am so extraordinarily close with them all, especially the sisters we all have each other's backs no matter what! I wish I could just tell you all everything that happens in our sisterhood, but that would take forever!!!
I am soooooo excited, Canada, I'm a come'n!! Oh, but before I leave we are going to hold a extra meeting with a woman we taught when we first got here and we are going to invite her to get Baptized... I hope she says yes!!! Ever since we taught her she has been emailing us about her progress! I love her!!!!
I got to go to the Temple today and that was awesome! Also I just want to share my testimony with you all that preisthood blessings work, and I am so grateful for all of the worthy preisthood holders in my life!
