Week 1
HELLO EVERYONE!!! I know it's only been my first week, but oh my heavens I have some crazy stories for you all! Unfortunately I can't share all of them so I've selected just a few of my favorites.
Story #1: My Companion's name is Sister Benedicto and she is from Vernal Utah and about a year and a half ago we met each other. I was visiting some friend who are in her ward and we were the only girls in the Sunday school lesson together! so that's pretty cool!
Story #2: we exercise almost every day and the Elders in my district love to play basketball, so sometimes I join them. Well, on Monday we were playing and Elder Beeceoft (while passing me) coughed "loser!"... ummmmm well soooooo, *cough *cough I punched him. Yup, I wasn't even here a full week and I punched an Elder. Anyway super embarassing THEN not 2 min later ON ACCIDENT, I hit him (the same Elder) in the face with a basketball, hard. THEN, again not 2 min later I hit Elder Larsen (so now the second Elder) in the face really hard with a basketball!!! AND THEN!!!!! ( you didn't think it could get any worse did you? Well, it does.) I ACCIDENTALLY HIT ELDER CARDOZA IN THE FACE WITH A BASKETBALL!!!!!! so I hit 3 Elders in the face all within 7 minutes. I unfortunately have not been invited back to play basketball with the Elders. Yup, I'll let you all know when that changes. (It probably won't)
Story #3: Sister Tonga was a missionary in Preston and my family and I just love her! Well I walked into the health center today and the wonderful MTC and turns out she works here now!!!!! Seeing her was the highlight of my day!!!! So that was awesome!
Missionary life is wayyyyy crazy! We eat and study and eat and study then eat, study, exercise and then bed. However the food is well... how can I put this nicely? I can't.... the food is questionable. Converting to missionary life is hard!!! We can't say certain words like: investors, guys, heck, crap, bro, dude, freaking, totally, rad, ect... you all get it. Every time we say a "no no word" we have to do push ups.... so I'm going to be so buff by the time I leave the MTC. Anywho, I've got lots to do!
I love you all, and I'll talk to you next week!
Love Sister Jeppsen!
