This week was fantastic!
We had a meeting with all sister missionaries, and it was so fun to see old companions. I love them so much it was so good! Sister Ocampo gave us a training that was really inspiring and the other senior missionaries gave great trainings as well.
We tried something new this week by drawing the plan of salvation on a whiteboard and carrying it around with us when we knocked doors. We had a lot of lessons from it and were able to answer the common questions, "where do I come from? Why am I here? And where am I going?" The plan of salvation is so cool!
Earlier this week we decided to bike and the route took a lot longer than we thought it would. When we got there our appointments weren't home and it started pouring rain hahaha. After getting soaked and knocking a few doors, the young couple we were going to teach got home with pizza- which they shared with us and we taught them to pray! The rain and sweaty bike ride was worth it :)
A few nights ago we met a really cool family- the Menchaca family. They are an older couple and are so kind! He is a minister and helps many people. They invited us over for dinner and we had such a good time with them. They told us all about life and how to have a happy marriage and all sorts of good things. And the food was really good haha. They invited us back over to share a lesson with them and we're excited for that! It really was a tender mercy to meet them :)
Sister Jenks is an awesome companion, we're learning so much together and having so much fun. Life is great!
