Hey everyone!
This week was amazing!
We had a meeting with our mission president and I learned so much! We counseled about becoming more consecrated missionaries and the importance of serving with all our hearts, might, mind, and strength. It was a great meeting, and I learned a ton.
Low point of the week: we got fed "hidavo encebollado" which is liver and onions. I've been able to eat everything people have given me on my mission, but I couldn't do this one. Luckily, they cooked it with hot peppers, and I was able to say that it was too spicy for me. Sister Sayer was a champ and got hers down, I can't say that I did the same haha.
Crazy parts:
1. Our car died and Edgar had to come help us take it to the shop
2. We went on exchanges and Sister Marshall twisted her ankle so we had to drive an hour and a half to the doctor and we only had an hour to teach at the end of the night. It was a fun exchange though.
3. On the exchange the elders ambushed us with water balloons- we were SOAKED!
High point:
Celina- the amazing woman that Sister Paskett and I taught in Weslaco- was passing through Mission yesterday and so she came and knocked doors with us! It was so fun to see her :)
Life is good here in Mission :) love you all!
