Hey everybody!
This week was great and just flew by!
Nothing too out of the ordinary happened this week. We biked a lot and it was SUPER hot and humid, but some really nice people gave us water and we found a really cool family for the English sisters to teach! We stopped on our bikes to talk to a young guy and then his dad pulled in the driveway and started talking to us. They recently had some family members pass away and we told them a little bit about the Plan of Salvation and told them where the church was. The son realized that he actually plays basketball at our church every day with a bunch of other young guys and the dad said that his cousin actually goes to our church! We asked him if he wanted other missionaries to stop by and he told us that he would be waiting for their phone call to set up a time! We're excited to talk to the English sisters and see how it goes with him and his family :)
We also saw a MASSIVE toad when we left Cynthia and Edgar's house!!!! I guess that was pretty exciting and gross :)
This week Sister Sayer and I were talking a lot about how we need to trust in the Lord and let go of our imperfections, and our mission President sent me an email this week talking about how we need to "Live by grace, not by perfection." It was a super good reminder to me that I need to depend on the Lord. He doesn't expect us to do His work (or anything) by ourselves! He just expects us to try our best and from there He will magnify our efforts.
Love you all have a great week!
