This week was really hard, but last night we had the coolest miracle that made it all worth it.
Sister Yanez and I have been struggling all transfer to find people to teach, but we just kept working and praying and trying to depend on the Lord. We had some points when we were super frustrated this week, but just prayed for a lot of patience haha. Last night we were really struggling to teach people. We were out walking, and tried visiting some people, who all told us they were too busy. Almost all of our plans had fallen through, and we were looking at our planners wondering which person to visit next- when Sister Yanez looked at me and said we needed to visit a family she had met the day before with Sister Cassady (because we were on exchanges.)
It was 8:45, and we went straight to the house, and they let us in!!! This was the first and biggest miracle of the day. We shared a lesson with them, and the spirit was so incredibly strong. It turns out that the parents are actually members! They got baptized 15 years ago in Mexico and stopped going to church when they moved here. At the end of the lesson, we looked at our watches and realized we were almost not going to make it home on time! As we left the house, we were sprinting to our car crying tears of joy and laughing. We know this family is so ready for the gospel. They're amazing and we're so excited to teach them more about how they can be together forever!!!
Love you all so much. I know that Christ lives. I know that God loves each and every one of us, and I know that this gospel is true!!!
