It's time for transfers... AGAIN!!!! I don't even know where these last 6 weeks went!!! I feel like Sister Bennett and I just got put together! I'm leaving Weslaco tomorrow :( I'm super sad to leave the ward and the people we're teaching, but I know Sister Bennett is going to take good care of the area! I'm going to a Spanish ward in Brownsville, and I'm going to be a sister training leader! My companion is Sister Yanez and she is from Honduras and is a super diligent missionary. I'm excited to see her tomorrow and get straight to work in the new area! It'll be awesome.
The Luna family didn't end up getting baptized this weekend. Their daughter sprained her wrist late Saturday night, and so they weren't able to get to church on Sunday. We were all a little bummed, but they're not gonna let satan win this one! They're looking forward to getting baptized later this transfer.
One thing I learned this week is just how different God's time is from our time! We need to always have an eternal perspective, push past our sad moments, and remember that even when we struggle, it's just for a small moment. God is our loving heavenly father, and he has a plan for us. I'm so grateful God knows us and everything perfectly!
I love being a missionary!
1. Sister Padilla- amazing cook and always comes to teach with us!
