Family and friends,
Another great week has flown by! It was pretty cold and rainy and we had to bike but it was so fun! Sister Bennett pulled a muscle in her leg though so biking may have to wait for a while 😂
We had the most amazing lesson about the Restoration with Sister Nicholls this week. She has no Christian background, and so we have to teach really simply. But when we gave her the Book of Mormon she got so happy, and the spirit filled the room. She said, "I don't know what I did to deserve this, but I'm going to read this whole thing." She accepted a baptismal date for November 25th. I love her so much and hope she progresses.
Amber came and taught with us this week which was great! Her mom is always in and out of the hospital, so it's hard to catch her sometimes. But her testimony is growing even through the trials!
Laisha missed church 3 weeks in a row, and when we went by and talked to her she started crying because she's noticed such a big difference since she stopped coming and reading the BoM. She knows now that when we put God first we are happier!!! She is so wise for a 15 year old!!
Marissa, Leila, and Miya brought a family friend to church!!! His name is Misa and he was their uncle who passed away friend. Misa got our number from Marissa and reached out to us because he was having a really difficult day. We called him because he's a truck driver and had a lesson with him over the phone. It went really well and we were really happy to see him in church!
I love this ward so so so much. Sister Bennett came into the best area in the whole mission. The ward is always willing to help, and the fellowship between ward members and our recent converts is amazing. We are always trying to figure out where we can improve to create a stronger ward family and build Zion here!
Love you all so much. I know our Savior lives and loves each and every one of you. Repent often and use the atonement and you'll have true joy.!! 💃
