Familia y Amigos,
I leave for Texas on Monday! I´m sad to leave my companion and our awesome teachers, but I also don´t think I can wait!!! Monday seems like an eternity away haha, I just can´t wait to get to Texas!
One really cool experience we had this week was TRC, which is where we get to teach members, less active members, or investigators. This week Hna. Otteson y yo taught a 14 year old member named Merideth. She told us in VERY FAST español that she doesn´t have a very strong testimony. We committed her to read the scriptures, and we tried to help her understand how much her Heavenly Father loves her. After the lesson, we were walking away when a scripture came to mind. I quickly wrote it down on a piece of paper and Hna. Otteson and I sprinted to give it to her. I´ve been praying for her lots and hope the scripture touches her heart and helps her keep going!
Hna. Otteson and I have had lots of amazing lessons this week with our ¨"Investigators" and also lots of bad ones haha! The important thing is that we´re learning! I´m so grateful for a companion that helps me stay positive even when we have a bad lesson, because we can learn from it!
There has been tons of rain here in Mexico City! It´s really cooled things off, but our shoes are always wet haha! During one of our Sunday devotionals (which was incredible) the auditorium started flooding because it was raining so hard! We all had to move to the back seats, but the rest of the devotional was powerful. We watched a movie about Joseph Smith, and I know that he was a prophet of God! I´m so grateful for the gospel, and for our Savior, Jesus Christ. God knows each and every one of us personally, and shows His love for us every day! All we need to do is count our blessings and we´ll see His hand in our lives.
Mucho amor,
Hna. Aragon
