¡Hola!
The CCM has been incredible! I absolutely love being a missionary! Lot´s of people say that leaving on a mission is a sacrifice, which I completely disagree with. God gives so many blessings when we follow His will and have faith!
During Sacrament meeting this week, President Bennett gave the most amazing talk. One thing he said stood really stood out to me. Elder Holland was in Mexico, so President Bennett called him and asked if he would like to come teach less active members with him. Elder Holland´s response was this, "I would crawl on molten glass,to visit less active members with you." I was so amazed by this. Elder Holland, an extremely busy man, would do anything to save just one soul. It was really humbling to hear.
I love my companion, my district, my teachers, and how beautiful it is at the CCM! One Hermana said to me that the experience you have at the CCM is up to you, you can choose to be happy or you can choose to be miserable. I thought that was smart advice and so far I´ve loved almost every minute here! Spanish is hard but I know that God is helping my district when we work hard and pray for lots of help!
