This is the last week of the transfer and I am on to my final 6 weeks! This week has been pretty crazy with transfers coming up. We have been working really hard to find new people to teach and square has been getting busier as it gets closer to Christmas. This week we even had some virtual tours! One for a woman in Scotland and another for a woman in the Philippines, both of which were really fun tours filled with the Savior. It makes us so happy to hear that people feel peace and joy in the message of the Savior.
On Friday we went to the COB (or the Church Office Building) for a pizza lunch. We decided to go with our roommates for delicious pizza. The COB is actually really good and super cheap as well. It's one of the perks of going to Temple Square. We have access to the COB and other church facilities, which no other Salt Lake missionaries can claim and no other missionaries around the world either.
We closed out this week with our last district council this transfer. We had a discussion on the Miracles that we saw this transfer. There were many good times we enjoyed and I just know that there are many good things still in store for the last few weeks at Temple Square.
Sunday we had fast and testimony meeting which allowed us all to just be able to feel the spirit. We also discovered our transfer future. I won't be moving for my last transfer, thank goodness. Neither will my companion or my roommates move. I'll be staying with the amazing Sister Denney one more transfer for my last. She's the best. I'm so excited to be with her longer. In just six weeks, I'll be on a plane flying home without a companion, but still I have a lot of work to do before I will be ready to leave. We still have Christmas to celebrate as well.
I hope you're all still lighting the world by serving others the way the Savior did. If not, there is time to start now and do your part to make the world a better place. Merry Christmas!
