Happy Halloween and Final 2 transfers!

Hello everyone! Last time I sent an email it was still October, but now it is November. Since my last preparation day we had transfers and I am now in the last 12 weeks of my mission. For the last few days of the transfer Sister Riquelme and I had two different tours with two different stakes in Chile. This was along with a handful of other spanish tours we were able to give to help spread the gospel around the world.

Sunday the 25th was Sister Riquelme's very last Sabbath on the mission so we got to go in person. She sang the beautiful song "Called to Serve" along with all the other departing sisters. That same day I also found out that I was moving out of Brigham and to Deseret Apartments. I didn't really like Deseret as much as Brigham but it's not a bad place. The last time I was in Deseret it was Christmas last year, so it's been a long time.

The next day, we finally got the transfer board. My new companion is Sister Denney from Utah. She was reassigned from the Australia Adelaide mission and has been on her mission for about 9 months. She is amazing! I am so excited to work hard with her this transfer. We actually went on exchanges together when our companions are going to the homebound dinner the same day we found out our new companions. We found out we were going to be together while we were actually together.

On Tuesday, we had our final District Council and Sister Riquelme had her departing interview with President Larsen. The whole week was a lot of preparing for her to go home. I know she was so excited to be able to return to her family and see her sister and her mother again.

Wednesday was transfer day and the morning started at 4 am. Another sister and I drove to the airport so Sister Riquelme could get to her flight on time. Just after that I took a car and helped move sisters between the two buildings ending in my moving of my own things. Later I was able to find my new companion Sister Denny and we started off the beginning of our time together.

This past weekend was of course Halloween. The morning started out as normal as any other. I decided to dress up like a bunny. I had a bunny face mask and wore an all white outfit for the day. Around 5 pm we started the festivities. First up was pizza and salad from the mission. Then we went to the theaters in the North Visitor Center to watch a Devotional from Brother Groberg. He is the person that is portrayed I the movie "Other Side of Heaven." He gave us a cool talk on some of his experiences and trials as a missionary. I feel that it really gave us hope that we can all do hard things as we go through our missions and life. We then watched "Other Side of Heaven," a great movie. Finally we got to have hot chocolate and eat donuts to close out October.

It is strange to think that I will finish my mission in just 11 weeks from tomorrow. It doesn't feel like it. I know that I still have time to work hard as every moment is the Lord's time. We have more fun things in store for us this transfer. We'll have to wait and see. Write again next week!
