Sister Macfarlane

Hello from Nagasaki! - Week 13

I hope you all had a great week! This past week was transfers and it was crazy. Saying goodbye to my amazing trainer, Sister Macfarlane has been really hard! We were the best of friends but I know that she is going to do great in her new area. My new companion is Sister Reyes! She's from Mexico and she can't speak any English so it's been a little rough communicating but we manage!
Anyways, this week was just crazy with Sister Macfarlane saying goodbye to everyone so we visited a lot of members and people we love. It was really sad but also a really good time. :)
It's also been so so hot recently, summer is upon us!! Probably coming up soon we'll have rainy season so yeah, not really excited for that.
Anyways just one amazing miracle I want to talk about! Yesterday at church, one of the people we randomly met on the street came to church! It was so cool! When we had the closing prayer, she started crying and said she was feeling an overwhelming feeling of joy and she couldn't explain what it was. We explained to her that it was the spirit. She said that she felt that she knew that this was true and this was right. After, we went to Sunday School and our mission leader, Ohira-kyoudai basically taught the first discussion to her and explained about our church. It was super amazing and spiritual and she was understanding everything really easy. Then, just us and her had a lesson where we finished off about the Restoration and we showed her the video and she said she was feeling that overwhelming feeling again and she knew that Joseph Smith's experience was true. Then we talked about the Book of Mormon and we shared Moroni 10:3-5 and she was like "I know this is true, I feel like this isn't the first time that I've heard this message" It was such a crazy miracle!! We asked her if she wanted to be baptized and she said "yes, someday" so we technically didn't set a date but still, AMAZING!!! This is probably the greatest miracle, and the most prepared person, I've ever seen. The Lord really is preparing His children to hear the gospel. This gospel is true and I love it!!!
Anyways, until next week!
