Hello from Okinawa!!! I got here this week on Thursday and I have just hit the ground running. Me and Sister Glathar are having a blast going around Naha going to different appointments and things. Sister Glathar is from Lehi, Utah and is half Japanese. I already know and love her from my MTC district. Naha is so awesome! It's already so hot but we are doing it!! It was sad leaving Fukuoka and Sister Armstrong, I will miss them so much!
Me and Sister Armstrong in our last proselytizing together, felt impressed to go to a certain apartment that I've always wanted to go to and we knocked into this one man from the Phillipines and he had met the missionaries before! We were able to talk to him a little bit and he said that he received a Book of Mormon a while back but never got the chance to learn about it and asked if he could learn more and we were like "yes!" It was just so awesome! Sister Armstrong even got to say some Tagalog to him too, haha. We exchanged contact information and told him where the church was. It was just so cool to see that miracle of finding someone in our last night together.
Anyways, life is good and me and Sister Glathar are both so ready for this upcoming transfer to work hard and see so many miracles. I'm grateful to do missionary work every day and I'm trying to make every day amazing and enjoy every moment because before we know it, it's all up! I know the Savior lives and he directs His work here in Japan. We just have to trust in Him!
