Chikushino, Fukuoka, Japan

Sister Armstrong

Hello from Fukuoka! - Week 15

こんにちは! 佐藤姉妹は一番です!笑,彼女だけは読んでいるね...Hello everyone from Chikushino! Life is good. Me and Sister Armstrong are having a blast every day! I feel just happy every day and that's just because of the missionary work that we are doing. I love Chikushino so much! It's amazing and I love the people here!
So anyways, this week was pretty busy! It has gotten a lot warmer here too. Soon, it will be summer, 早っ! We have just been working hard each with our lessons and proselyting. Literally, we come home so tired every day but that is a good sign that you're doing what's right on the mission.
Well, we had a lesson with the Warita family this week. They are so cute, and they are just the most loving family. We call them family goals. めっちゃかわいいじやん. When we walked down the street to their house, the little daughter and her friends were playing in the street and the girl called out and was like "あっ, 私の外人の友達だ!" which means "Ah! My foreigner friends!" Then we came in and practiced English with them for a little bit. The little girl sang a song that she had been practicing at school recently and it was so adorable! We taught them a Primary song "Happy Family" and they loved it! Then, we talked a little bit about the Restoration and they surprisingly knew so much about the Bible and Jesus Christ! It was way cool! We taught them how to pray and invited them to pray as a family. They said that they would. I am so excited to see their growth in the gospel!
We had a lesson with another member this week and she took us out to a sushi conveyor belt restaurant. Seriously, those places are by far my favorite here in Japan. She grabbed some random pieces of fish though that I had no idea what they were and made us try some. Half of them were good and the other half was 微妙かんな (sketch). Haha, but it was a lot of fun!
We also went on exchanges with the Sister Trainer Leaders (STLS)! I was with Yonei shimai and it was the third time that we have been on exchanges together! We had a blast out in Maebaru. We had a cool experience where we were kinda wandering through streets and not really feeling anywhere specific where we should go and so we prayed and felt that we needed to go down this one street and we found a lot of cool people to talk to and gave out a Book of Mormon. I definitely felt that it was the Holy Ghost guiding us. I definitely have felt the importance of prayer since coming on my mission. I really know that God hears and answers every single one of our prayers no matter what. Alma 37:37 says "Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day." This is great verse that talks about counseling with the Lord and I promise all of you that Heavenly Father really wants to help you and He knows all that you are going through. You just have to let Him help you. If you do, everything will work out. I know this!
Anyways, life is good and I'm enjoying every day! 誠にこの宣教師であること毎日感謝しています. 皆様の助けと愛よく感じています! 最後まで頑張ります! 愛しています!
