This week was a great one. Full of lasts and goodbyes. Its an odd experience leaving. I am so excited to come home because its been a long time but I also am feeling like I am leaving home. So many memories and friends I have made while here in Upstate New York. This experience is one I will never forget and I am honestly sad it is ending. But that didn't dull my last week. We had fun and the party is continuing for these last few days!
The main thing that happened this week was CHEN GOT BAPTIZED! I remember tracting into him over a year ago with Sister Hamblin. From day one we had to start with the basics. Explaining who God and Jesus Christ are and who we are to him. Slowly but surely Chen has learned more and more but it wasn't until a few months ago when he finally started letting that new information change him. Now he knows that Jesus Christ is his Savior. He still has a lot to learn but is excited to be starting this journey. I am so grateful I was able to come back to Ithaca and see the changes Chen has made in his life. He truly is amazing and it was a great last weekend!
The rest of the week was BUSY. We have been teaching a ton and Ithaca seems to be blossoming! We have multiple solid people and a family just told us they want to be baptized. To be a part of the Lords work has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. I have loved seeing the Atonement change these people. Its beautiful! I am excited for Sister Koford to continue helping these people return home to their Father in Heaven.
Being a full time missionary for my Savior Jesus Christ is something I will never regret nor forget. I have been changed too much. I have seen others change too much. This gospel is a blessing and I am so grateful I have had it all my life and have been able to help others discover it.
I love you all and hope you have a great week. I will see you soon!
