"I feel like the chocolate center to a golden oreo"- Sister Poulton
Hey there! Wow this week was more hectic than normal. So the biggest thing of this week was that we offically became a trio last Wednesday. Sister Poulton is joining us for the rest of the transfer because her companion had to go home to get medical care. :( But wow this week has been weird. Just adjusting to a new dynamic and figuring out how this is going to work has been stressful. But it has been such a blessing. Although I thought Heavenly Father was going to let me have a normal transfer... I guess He has different plans for me haha! Iove it though because He constantly is stretching me and helping me grow and learn. And let me say the last 6 days have been major days of learning!
We also had zone conference yesterday hence why I am emailing today. Sorry I didnt give a warning! It was amazing though. Iove President Vest. He is an amzing man and I know he definitley was meant to be my mission president. He has helped me through so many things and he just cares. That love is apparent everytime I talk to him. We also had an area seventy notice the cars at the church and just pop in for the conference. So he shared some things which was super awesome!
Today I simply wanted to share my testimony of the Savior because He is the reason why I am even a missionary in the first place. I love my Savior. This week I have realized how He truly understands me. Understands my strengths and my weaknesses. Understands what I am struggling with and the emotions the swirl inside. Understand my frustrations and strivings to be more like HIm. I've come to appreciate in more depth this week the love that He has for me. He truly took my name and each of your names through the Garden of Gethsamane. He wrote our name on the palms of His hands. He loves you. I know that because I know he loves me. I am so immensly grateful for the love of the Savior and that it is just as apparent as President Vest love for me. Jesus Christ is my Savior. He is your Savior. I hope one day I will be able to pay back even a fraction of everything he has done for me. So I will be the best person, missionary and daughter of God I can be. Jesus is the Christ. In the name of Him, whom I cherish and love with all my heart, even Jesus Christ. Amen.
