Man was this week a good week. Actually it was pretty much the same as always but the fact that I don't have to wear 2 pairs of leggings everyday makes a bigger difference than you would think! Its amazing how much better the day seems when the sun actually out! Haha.
So this week we had exchanges with the Plattsburg Sisters and it was amazing. Sister Morley is currently serving there and she used to be my STL so it was so much fun seeing her again! We also had zone conference this week and Sister Miner and I gave our first training. It honestly wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be:) Zone conference was amazing as always. And of course we got to see our cute sisters which is always the best!
This last week I also had my second to last interview with President Rogers. He leaves the first of July and I think every missionary in the NYUM is in denial about it. I am still trying to wrap my brain around having a new mission president. One thing is for sure, the Rogers will missed.
I have failed to mention in emails before this one the best ice cream on this planet. Found at a gas station named Stewart's. I am not kidding when I say they have the best ice cream I have ever found and it is only found in upstate New York. They had a sale this week.... which was very bad for Sister Miner and I. We ended up buying 2 Gallons worth of ice cream... You could say we were a bit excited.
I also officially have a new favorite movie. It is called Joseph Smith The Prophet of the Restoration. This movie seriously changed my life. And yes.... I cried... no surprise there. I love it so much and we are currently watching it again because it is that good. If you haven't seen it I would definitely recommend it!
Now the important news.....
VERNON IS GETTING BAPTIZED THIS SATURDAY!!!!! OH my heavens I am so flipping excited for him. Vernon is one of my favorite people on this entire planet. I don't know how much I have talked about him but he is this cute Jamaican man with the strongest faith I have ever seen. I learn so much from him and I can not wait for him to be able to get the gift of the Holy Ghost next Sunday! This is something I have been looking forward to since I got to Canton! I cannot believe it is finally here. Vernon is so ready and I am honored I have been able to watch him grow over the past few weeks.
Overall you could say it was a pretty good week. :)
Love Sister Keller
Alma 30:44 This is a scripture I have been thinking about a lot this week. As NY is finally turning to spring there is no way you could look at this beautiful world and not believe there is a God. The universe hangs in a perfect balance created by the Hand of God. I love the peace this knowledge has brought me.
