Hermana Greener

3's Company

GREETING FROM SOUTH AMERICA!!!!! Pdays are officially on Monday's again haha. This week was great. I love being a missionary. Here are points of interest!

1. So I am officially in a trio now! Hermana Calla is the newest addition to our group. She is from Buenos Aires and does not speak any English whatsoever which is doing wonders for my Spanish. She is literally the happiest person I have ever met, always laughing and smiling. She always compliments my Spanish... I haven't decided if she is just being nice or serious yet but i will keep you updated.

2. Hermana Calla is kind of like me and she likes to press things into her journal but instead of flowers like me, she presses butterflies hahaha. It's hilarious to watch her chase after them. Love it.

3. So a lot of people that we have taught in the past are super passive aggressive here and instead of just telling us they don't want to take the lessons they hide in their houses when we come. We have a past investigator named Milagros whose house we passed by this week and she saw us coming and sprinted into her house before we could catch her. The only problem was she left her baby outside alone. We waited outside her house for 5 minutes but she was very dedicated to not talking with us I guess.

4.WE HAD 3 INVESTIGATORS AT CHURCH YESTERDAY!!!!! We got to church and we were saying hi to all the members and we walked up behind this lady who turned around and saw us and waved and we were so surprised to see her because every time we invited her she would say "no thanks". But we sat by her and we saw our other two investigators walk in later. I felt like crying when I saw them. I never really realized before how hard it is to get people to church. But what a blessing that none of the members said anything too crazy in their testimonies. We had like 3 primary kids get up to bear their testimonies. I was touched by their simple testimonies. This gospel is so simple. The bottom line is that we have a Father in Heaven who loves us, and wants us to return to him. Everything else falls underneath that.

I love you all so much and hope you are doing well. Have a great week.

Hermana Stirling
