Resistencia, Chaco, Argentina (Barrio 3)

Hermana Marin

Happy P-day and happy pre Thanksgiving. I apologize again for the terrible grammar and spelling that will follow.

Points of Interest this Week

1.WOW I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR 2 WEEKS I AM BASICALLY A VETERAN. Haha I am slowly but surely growing more and more used to this environment.

2. Hermana Marin and I both got sick this week. My guess is the plague. hahah it was terrible. We were stuck in the pension (house) for 3 days but we are all good now!!!! And we didn't even die. We watched the Pioneer movie "Ephraims Rescue" to make ourselves feel better. No matter how bad it gets here, I get to eat and take a shower everyday.

3. My lovely companion and I decided that if things dont work out for us back home with finding a husband we can always return to Resistencia where we will have floods of suitors. People really seem to think we are something special here hahah. Maybe because we both have all our teeth?¡

4. PRIMARY PROGRAM!!!!! Wow the church is true even in Resistencia because yes they have a Primary program here. It is easier for me to understand their Spanish because they use simpler words so I was in Heaven.

5. This week I was hand washing my laundry (yes I do that now haha) and I heard a song lyric that seriously stuck out to me.

"Stop fighting a fight that has already been won"

Wow... How many times are we going through life struggling and facing trials that have already been overcome??? The savior is waiting with open arms. He knows our hearts and our trials. Please do as I have been learning to do, and turn to him. He will help you to find joy in this life like nothing else/no one can.

I love you all and I am grateful for your love and prayers and support. Have a great week and keep smiling.
