Sorella Henderson

Già fa troppo caldo!!!! Morirò....

Ciao tutti!
So I feel like I learned a lot this week, from just about everything I did! First things first, our new simp Tune wants to get baptized and we're so excited! His mother language is French, so it's been a little challenging to explain some things to him, he speaks Italian well, but some words are definitely some he doesn't know haha. But he's awesome, and you can see it in his face when he feels the spirit and it's awesome!
We also had our Scambio this week, and I was with Sorella Santoro, who is awesome! It's definitely different to go from someone just barely learning the language to someone who speaks it natively haha.
As for one thing I've learned this week, it's really been about how much we are here to love the people! The people we serve with, the people we teach, and the people we don't know too! Charity, or the pure love of Christ, is something we all need to develop to become more like Jesus.
"And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:2
And we can't develop charity alone, but the good news is that we don't have to! It says in the scriptures that charity is a gift from God, and that we can ask Him to receive this gift, but we also have to do whatever we can to try and show it to others! I want to invite you all to strive to have a little more charity this week as I do the same :)
Vi voglio bene!
