I've been feeling just so grateful lately for being here.
Update on our friends:
Emilio: He is 25. He is from Guatemla. In our first lesson he asked "How do you know you are saved? What happens if you don't accept the gospel on earth? Where do you go?" He is so humble and very prepared. He came to church for the 2nd week in a row. At the end of testimony meeting he said "I'm really glad I came. I feel like some of those testimonies were for me."
Heather: She has been having family problems. We shared with her the temple pamphlet. When we came back she was really excited to talk about it. When we shared how she can be sealed with her family she started crying. Heather texted us Sunday morning that she wasn't coming to church. We were feeling discouraged but texted her "Heather is something wrong?" She opened up about how she was nervous to come. We texted her and reassured her "We will be there with you I promise." She came with her 3 boys! She is going to stop smoking too. This woman is amazing. She's one of my favorites(if I'm allowed to have favorites;))
Dollar General Testimony:
We were biking and we had one more hour. We knocked on one last door for the night and it was a girl. She said "Hey I've seen you in dollar general I know you!" She let us in and we taught her.
Another door we knocked on a man opened the door and said "Hey I know you." He remembers us from dollar general.
I'll tell you what, dollar general is the best for finding. We barely tract at all. The magic happens in dollar general.😊
Makayla: We were able to have a heart to heart with Makayla and she will be baptized the 26th this month!
Samuel: Samuel finished the BOM in one week. This man is legendary.
Jesus is the Christ. He lives. These experiences are designed to help us become like him.
3 Nephi 9: 14 Yea, verily I say unto you, if ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto me.
