We had a really good exchange with the Millbrook STLs. I learned ALOT from Sister Peery. She is an incredible missionary. She taught me a lot. We were teaching this elderly woman about the difference between immortality and eternal life. She said, "I sin, but I'm saved." (Ps every time people say that here I think of all the girls in Vidor that used to say that HAHAA)
Sister McCreath and I loved this Zone Conference. We learned a lot. Right after we left, we went right on the bikes and started using what we learned in Zone Conference and talked to everyone. We went from one house to the next. It became more human and genuine, less robotic and less missionary like. Tracting Game changer.
We also wanted to make a goal and get members to see our investigators on their own and read the BOM with them. We took the idea to our branch President. It is still a work in progress, but we are trying to make it actually happen.
Sister McCreath is doing so great! She has such a strong testimony and it really connects with the people here. We are friends. She tells me all about plants and how to garden and all about her homeland Wyoming.
I'll tell you WHAT! This weather is getting hot and we are loving it.
From the great Brad Willcox:
Christ is not waiting at the finish line once we have done “all we can do” (2 Nephi 25:23). He is with us every step of the way.
