This week was kinda hard but there was still good things that happened! We had two meetings with new people! We also went to Poznań for exchanges. I got to be with sister Baldwin for the day. We visited a sweet and sassy member. She has been a member for a long time, maybe 25 years! She has a lot of health problems but was still positive. While we were there, I felt God's love for her as His daughter! So amazing.
On Friday, we were trying to have a finding activity about family history. We couldn't do it at the Rynek/town square because they were playing loud music and setting up for something. So we went to another location and it didn't work there either. So we were a little frustrated but decided we still needed to go out and talk to people. We felt like we should visit someone or at least go in that direction. So we started walking that way and met this awesome couple. They wanted to come to English class but were more interested in a bible study with us! We knew God wanted us to talk to them! It was the best conversation of the day!
We had dinner with a member on Sunday. He has a really strong and humble testimony. He doesn't have a lot of things, like a nice apartment or electricity, or even a lot of food. But he still fed us a nice meal! It was so nice of him and it made me realize how blessed we are for those basic things. And even more blessed to have the gospel of Jesus Christ. He showed us his favorite pictures which included his family and missionaries he first met in England.
Also, a few weeks ago, I finished reading the Book of Mormon as a mission in 40 days. Claire, best friend/twin/ missionary in Germany decided to read the Book of Mormon in 40 days too! (We actually both finished in 41 days haha.) I learned new things from the Book of Mormon. Some things stood out to me, like how often it says to remember. Those that forget about God and what He's done for them lose out on His blessings. They become prideful and fall away from God. But those that remember still notice God's help and how He continues to help them in their trials. I know that we must remember God and Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true testament of Jesus Christ. Because the Book of Mormon is true, Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and this is the true church! I am so so grateful for the Book of Mormon and for my Savior, Jesus Christ.
