We did lots of contacting this week and it was awesome! Sometimes there would be thirty minutes with no one wanting to talk to us but then one person would and they were interested and it made the whole day better! We gave out some Books of Mormon and we are planning on meeting with some of those people! I shows me that when we go out in faith and trust God, He can put people in our path that are ready for the gospel!
Funny story: In Poland, the last Thursday of February is Fat Thursday and they sell a lot of doughnuts. Except we thought Fat Thursday was the first Thursday of the month. So we decided to make doughnuts for service night and give them out on Thursday for the finding activity. We made about 50 doughnuts and then realized we had the dates wrong. But we still went out and gave out all the doughnuts and people were happier because of our mistake, haha.
I gave my first talk on Sunday (yesterday). It was scary because it was all in Polish but my companion helped me a lot with writing it and with pronunciation. I know God was helping me too because I wasn't too nervous! I feel God help me so much as a missionary.
I know that the gospel is for everyone and brings so many blessings. There are so many people here that have really hard problems, right now some members are really struggling. But I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ can help with anything, whether avoiding sin and consequences or feeling the love of God through trials. I am so grateful to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life! It is the biggest blessing!
Have a fantastic week!
