The One With New Friends

MERRY FRIGGIN CHRISTMAS YALL! WHAT A TIME OF YEAR - AM I RIGHT?! This week was nothing short of a miracle!

On Tuesday we traveled out to Louisville for Mission Leadership Conference. I love MLC! I just get so incredibly pumped for it! One of the songs we sang was "Because I Have Been Given Much" and I had to lead it. That song is my favorite, particularly the third verse. So I'm up in front of everyone just crying my eyes out singing this song. I'm sure everyone thought I was wack, but little do they know that that song played a key role for me to be where I am today. It's the song I put on my mission plaque and it reminds me every day why I am out here, TO LOVE BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN LOVED! It motivates me. I just love loving people. It's my favorite thing to do.

This week we found four new people! It is quite a miracle actually! We have been trying to teach these three youth in the Tates Creek area for quite a while now. And guess what…they are on date for baptism! With the Elders help they have truly opened up and expressed a desire to be baptized! The 4th is our guy Rob. He is absolutely amazing! He loves the church and can’t wait to find out if it's true! He is so great at keeping his commitments! I love him to death!

On Sunday we had 4 people at church! That is an all-time high for me! I am beyond blessed!!

Quote of the week: "Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better and then work on it!" Neal A. Maxwell!

All my love!
Sister Ludwig
