The One Where She Left Sister M

HOLY ROLLER COASTER! This week has been way insane! Last Monday we went to Churchill Downs and it was awesome! Yall would have loved it! I'll send pictures.

Then Tuesday came! Sister M and I decided to match because we were getting our cute Visa waiter! We get to the meeting and president pulls us aside and tells us that our Visa sister got her Visa and was on her way to England. As happy as we were that she was with her people, we were so sad that we weren’t going to train together. We cried a little bit, because we were so excited. Like, I don't think you all understand! President, being the most amazing man he is, said as we were crying, "sisters, we still need you in our transfer meeting." That was the best thing he could’ve said! Even though we didn’t get a trainee, we were still able to help other sisters with theirs. We went home and stared at our third bed and were trying to think of all the reasons why it would be good that we didn’t have a 3rd sister with us, haha. But it wasn’t really helping or working. Then Wednesday night we get a call, and its president. He says, “Sisters, one of our trainers feels like she is not adequate to train a new missionary. Will you move a third bed in your apartment and train a new missionary?” I was scraping my jaw off the floor! Screaming and dancing for joy! SO PLOT TWIST SISTER M AND I ARE TRAINING A NEW MISSIONARY AND SHE IS STAYING IN THE GKLM (Great Kentucky Louisville Mission)! How happy is Sister Ludwig you ask?? Like burn a couch because UK won the championship happy!

So her name is Sister Elliott and she’s from Amarillo Texas! "Amarillo By Morning!" We love her so much and she has such a fat desire to share the gospel! She is adjusting so well to missionary life! I love her. She is the very best missionary!

Have you ever forgotten something really important but you can’t remember what it is? You just know you are missing something but can’t put your finger on it. That happened to me this week. So I am the driver, and my trainee and I were in the front seat while Sister M was backing us up. The sister that is not driving has to get out of the car and guide the driving sister whenever she has to back up. So I finish backing and put the car in drive. I start to drive off and Sister Elliott and I were talking and I had that nagging feeling that I had forgotten something. I realized I drove off without Sister M! I felt so bad, but it was really funny. We had good laughs. Luckily, I didn’t go too far without realizing I forgot Sister M. I look in my rear view mirror and Sister M is running after the car and waving her hands in the air. It was sooooooo funny! But I promise I'm an okay driver lol! Anyways....

Other than that, I have learned so much about my Savior this week. He is quick to run to me. He loves me. There’s a quote by C.S. Lewis that says, "Friendship is born when these words are said, 'What? Me too! I thought I was the only one.'" I imagine my Savior running to me and saying the same thing, but before he says "I thought I was the only one", he winks. He knows what he did for me. He knows I'm not alone. He is there for me and for you!

Love, Sister Ludwig

PS. Sister M and I hit our nine months...wild! So we took prego pics lol!
