The One With Adam's Baptism

Before I get to my week. I just want to express my love for the month of July. It truly is the best month of the year. We celebrate our wonderful country (you all know how I love America) but we also get to remember our great pioneer ancestors. Oh, how lucky we are with such a rich history!! Pioneers of great faith, who endured the most, who held strong to their faith, and who fought for their right to worship how they may have led me to right here. It's because of their faith that I have faith. Blessed, honored pioneer. God Bless them and God Bless America.

This week was incredibly special. Our friend Adam was baptized! He is now a member, and he plans to marry his girlfriend Cherokee in November and they are getting sealed in a year! We out here getting to be a part of creating eternal families! I am SO blessed! So lucky. There is no one on the planet who is luckier than me! Literally no one. Well maybe Jake and Kelsey, because their baby (MY niece) is so friggin cute and perfect! I'm going to include pictures of her in the group email, so you all can know what I am talking about! But other than that, I'm the luckiest girl in the world! Adam will always have a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to come back in a year to watch him be sealed to his family for time and all eternity. That's truly what this is all about. It's about helping the people we love to their next covenant. Do that, and you fulfill the Fathers plan!

This week I had the privilege of speaking in Church on developing divine attributes! COULD YOU GIVE ME A BIGGER SOAP BOX?! I truly don't think so. There is NOTHING more important in this life than becoming more like the Savior and helping others to do the same. NOTHING. If you want true and lasting happiness in this life, you must add or take away things in your life. When we eliminate the bad, and add good things in our life, we feel happier. It seems simpler than it is, but I know that when we rely upon the Lord, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
I do however, know that the actions of others sometimes cause heartache and sadness in our lives. That is out of our control and Gods control. However, we must keep charity. Without charity, everything fails. With charity, nothing faileth!

I love this life. I never not want to be a Sister Missionary! I LOVE IT!
