It's been a solid week so far... The transfer is already over half-way done.. what happened!? It's so surreal. I feel like my mission is just flying by, and I haven't even done anything yet. Bleh.
But we had ZONE CONFERENCE on Tuesday! And we got IPADS! Unfortunately, typing on an iPad sucks, so it doesn't change much about emailing. Actually, that's a lie: I am allowed to check my emails throughout the week, I just can't reply until Monday.. so... yeah. And I practically LIVE at the church (that's how often I'm there), and can therefore mooch off the wifi. So feel free to send emails whenever - I'll definitely get them!
But zone conference... wonderful stuff. It's always fun to gather together as missionaries. And President Yamashita is the cutest little thing ever! I love Nihonjin! We'll have stake conference this Saturday and Sunday, and the zone will get to reunite again! I'm stoked. So I'll talk about that later.
In other news: Photobooth. I haven't figured out how to send those gorgeous pictures I took in the Photobooth app, but when I do, you'll all thank me. But they are certainly worth a thousand words.
I had the chance to visit a less active member this week who had 11 cats, and 61 pigeons. Luckily, the pigeons were kept in a pin outside. But the cats had free reign of her house. It was obvious who was the boss in that relationship. I tried REALLY hard to be polite about my allergy, but my eyes got so swollen during the lesson that this cute old lady brought out some "natural ointment" for me. It didn't do squat, so I had to sort out my ailment later. "Charity suffereth long." It suffereth SO long.
On Saturday, we met with an FI (meaning "former investigator," for the peasant-folk) who took us to lunch and to shop. We were with her from 10:30am to 5pm. It was fun, though. She's cute. Her name is Kiki, she's Brazilian and as feisty as her name sounds. But she's SO cute. And a little crazy. But mostly cute.
