Merry Christmas- Week 20

Can I just say, I may need to talk to someone in the missionary department about having 2 p-days and week because I feel greatttt! These past two days have been some of my favorites since I started my mission!

I have a new companion and I am just going to brag about her for a few minutes. Sister Perez is from Vancouver Washington! But she was born in San Jose and grew up there for part of her life! She knows about Santa Teresa HS so you know she's a real one! She also speaks fluent vine!! I was so impressed. We literally finish each other's sentences. It truly is a fairy tale. She is also a professional figure skater and has great taste in music from what I've heard. *cough cough* Tabernacle choir of course. We also went to BYUI at the same time. Let me tell ya this world is such a small place! AND she knows sign language! How sick is that! I am set in stone. I love her so much already! She is an amazing teacher and has a beautiful light in her eyes every time she talks about our Savior.

Ahhh It is going to be a good transfer! I am so excited and what a better way to kick it off than Christmas! I hope you're all as excited as I am! It has been neat this year to look at Christmas from the right perspective. That being that Christ is the reason for it. Christ has so many names, Lord of Lords, Redeemer, Prince of Peace, The Name Above All Things, King of Kings, The Great High Priest of Good Things to Come, Savior, Jesus Christ, God, but the one that seem to catch my eye the most this season is, The Bright and Morning Star. Christ is the light in our lives. He is the reason we can see, we just need to open our eyes not just today but for the rest of our lives.

I love our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for His sacrifice and the endless love He shows me even when I have my eyes closed. I strive every day to become like Him. I know He lives. I know He loves each and every one of you. I know this gospel to be true and I know through it YOU can find happiness and peace and feel of that constant love. Don't be afraid to ask me about it. Just make sure you don't press reply all ;)

Merry Christmas!!
