I have a quick update!! 8 percent of my mission is complete!! How gnarly is that?! Ahhh it's definitely refreshing to my ears!
I'm just going to jump right into it! This week has been quite a mountain to climb! And I wore vans :') not very smart if you ask me! I had some blisters but ya girl made it to the top (woohoo) and the view was so so great!!
In our computer lab all the screens have a quote as the background. I came across one from President Gordon B. Hinckley that said,
"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith."
This quote was placed quite perfectly into my lap. I was thinking about things that I always say to myself when I am having a hard time and I constantly say to myself "breathe" and "it'll be ok". Of course these little phrases came from the mouths of the two coolest people on the planet *cough cough* my Mum and Dad! But, as I was climbing up this mountain it was so so hard to "breathe" because first, I'm out of shape and second, elevation is a real issue.
If you didn't catch it already I was explaining missionary work in a nutshell. How do you over come this? You exercise your faith or exercise just so you can make it up the mountain.
My friends! Put your trust in God and you with recieve unimaginable blessings. Pray to him every night. He will hear you even if you don't think he's listening. I know these things to be true!! And I'm always right ;)
