Provo MTC

Kerby (Ectch) Sister

herrro dere,
"How are you?" -nacho
So this week has been pretty exciting.... but first wasn't conference awesome! It was so direct, they didn't mess around. It was really cool watching it with the whole MTC! For sure it was the fastest weekend of my life, I didn't want it to end! I wish I could have texted mom after Elder Holland’s talk, like I’m sure the rest of the world did haha.
I hope that everyone was able to receive the answers they needed.
So this week was the first week of our off campus training!! We get to take a bus all the way over past the paleontology center #fieldtrip
It's actually really cool! We spend half the day there observing classes and planning our English classes. The students there are awesome too. They have all come to Provo to learn English in order to receive a university education. Sooo they're pretty amazing. We're all working on the bus drivers to take us to Swig or Chicken-fila......we have a few more times, so I think that we will be able to get them to cave. #iwantchickfila
"anyways" Sister Kerby and I got fired....not really but we're not the sister training leaders for our zone anymore. We're both pretty bummed. It was so fun! We have friends from all over the world now! It’s so cute, because a lot of them want to come back to BYU, so we email and plan....they're all so precious!
The Mongolian language is coming....slow but coming. We have one investigator Bothorerden that we have come so far with! It’s pretty amazing! We had the best lesson ever yesterday about the restoration! The spirit was so strong I loved it!! Anyway it started out way funny... she pours us some "tea" every time we meet with her...I’ve always assumed it is just boiling water because that’s a thing there! But this time Sister Kerby asked, and Bothorerden was like no "tea" and we didn't want to offend her or go into a word of wisdom lesson, because we just barely established that there is a God.... so Sister Kerby pretends to sip it (noise and all.... she might have even had her pinky out) but our investigator (who is our teacher) totally lost it! It was so funny! We all busted out laughing! For like a solid few minutes! And now she just makes fun of us, she sticks out her lips and its so fetching funny now every time she looks over at us! We love sister Largin!
Well I love the MTC! I feel like a grandma here because I’ve been here for so long but I love it! I have seen the Lord's handwork in so many missionaries it's amazing!
This week I have been studying hope and something that I have found that goes right in hand with that is trust. Trust in God. I have seen that as I have done this, my hope and my faith have increased. When we put our trust in Him, He can mold us into what He wants and needs us to be, He the potter, we are the clay. "On our own we can make only a smudge of ourselves. With Him we can become a masterpiece." Doubt not, fear not and the Lord will lead you. I know that He loves each of us and wants to help us each with our needs. All we have to do is ask!

I love you all! Have a great week!

xoxo + hierte shoo,
Sister Bollwinkel
