I'M TRAINING FOR THE 3RD TIME AS AN STL

well the title says it all- i'm training, killing off a comp (SPoulos goes home in 3 weeks), and staying an STL all in one transfer. Current anxiety level:

□ low □ medium □ high ■ extra high

WOW CAN WE TALK AB HOW GEN CONF HAS GOT TO BE THE BEST HOLIDAY OF THE YEAR.

some of my personal favs:

☆ covenant keeping men and women can receive a FULLNESS of JOY

☆ the pure love of Christ must be put in the hearts of the family

☆ there is not a right way to do the wrong thing

do it for elder bub:

this week I thought a lot about my cute brother as he's serving in Guatemala. In his last email he talked about the importance of fasting and about how he was nervous he wouldn't be able to understand much of general conference. So, guess what sister poulos and I did- fasted that Bub would be able to have the gift of tounges and understand the words he needed to hear. Throughout the rest of the week, whenever we needed to sacrifice something a little more, or do something a little bit better, we'd yell, "DO IT FOR ELDER BUB."

"oh, you sisters are still here? hang on a sec":

we went to the mission home for lunch in between gc sessions (blessings of FINALLY serving in the city) and as we were walking out to leave we saw the zone leaders. BACKSTORY: last week SPoulos had a horrific dream where her family & loved ones turned into rotisserie chickens, and she's no joke been scarred since.

we walk over to talk to the elders, who know about the dream, and one of them gets out of the car and brings back A ROTISSERIE CHICKEN- FAMILY SIZE. The rotisserie chicken is still untouched in our fridge + we're still shook.

during weekly planning I wrote down "transfer 11" and realized I have 1 more after this one- let's just say it got pretty emotional.

"I feel like I'm at a non-denominational church listening to 'o come to the altar' live":

We had a zone service for the St. Louis Temple President where we literally laid mulch for 3 hours. I was DJ and I'm currently OBSESSED with christian rock bands- never going back- so classic that's what we played for everyone while we were working.

Need some inspiration? go listen to, O Come To The Altar; Elevation Worship

I haven't flossed my whole life until this very week and I'm a new women. I've found a new zest in life.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT- I loved how General Conference was so focused on 1) love 2) missionary work & 3) families + covenants. I am shook with the many answers I received while watching gen conf. I love the revelation we get from listening to our prophet and the apostles. I know that each are called of God and I know that as we hearken to His counsel, "there could not be a happier people."
all my love,sister beal
