blessings around the corner
Not gonna sugar coat it, this week was a little rough. It's so hard to have the biggest desire to teach people and literally have no one to teach anything to. Sis Folk and I spent time finding each day this week and got no dice from it and is that super discouraging as a missionary? Yeah lol, a lot discouraging. But we still had a lot of fun this week and worked super hard. Honestly, I'm grateful for the hard weeks because I know it's my chance to show Heavenly Father that I'm willing to work hard and stay obedient and because of that, blessings are right around the corner. Law of obedience man, it's a real thing.
We had a lesson with this guy named Jhon who is from the actual country of Columbia, not just Columbia Missouri. He's a Seventh-day Adventist, so having lessons with him is DANG HARD. He low-key just wanted to Bible Bash the whole time, but it was so cool because the Spirit was helping sis folk and I know exactly what we needed to say. I'm not even kidding, I absolutely could not have made it through that lesson without technology. We were able to find versus in the Bible that explained more of what we were talking about that we didn't even know were there. It was so cool to see how Spirit-driven the lesson ended up being. I love being the Spirit's tool and doing whatever it prompts me to do. I've seen the biggest difference of relying on spiritual promptings more than my own.
I lost one of my fav rings down the stupid shower drain this week and it was the worst moment of my life. Thanks to the best comp in the world, for clogged shower drains from the massive amout of hair shoved down there, and for lots of prayers, sis folk somehow got my ring back using a pair of tweezers. If we didn't have a lot of miracles this week, I'm glad we at least had that one.
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT- this is legit. In my Mission Prep class at college my teacher had us write down a scripture that we could turn to during the hard days on our mission and write thoughts on how it could help us. We then put our paper in a basket and she went around the room, passing them out anonymously. Once I got mine I wrote it down in my Gospel Library app and then honestly totally forgot about it.
This week, I don't even remember what I was looking for, but I came across it in my personal study:
Alma 32:27 But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an experiment upon my words, and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than desire to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words.
"All I need is a particle of faith. Success will come. All I need is a little bit of faith. I am loved, always. I am noticed. I am successful."

Does God know me or what.
LOVE YOU ALL
